UK Riots 2011

In the 6th Aug 2011, London has a mass rioting. It is about  a local person who name is Mark Duggan, was shot dead by police in Tottenham London.From the video we can know more than policemen enjoy the rioting. The situation was very chaotic.From 8 until 10 August, some other cities has the same rioting. It include Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester, along with several towns. This events also called "BlackBerry riots". Because these people through blackberry mobile phone to relate other people. At 15th August, about 3,100 people had been arrested. However,it has  more than 1,000 had been charged. An estimated £200 million worth of property damage was incurred, and local economic activity was significantly compromised.

Welfare in the UK

1. How many families are dependent on benefits?
One third of homes dependent on benefits. And more than seven million people are dependent the government handouts.

2.What are the reasons for this?
I think the main reason is economic crisis. The government do not have enough money to help homelessness.And on the other hand, some people do not want to work.

3.What is the opinion of the government?
The government should give them some help. Such as, providing more job and welfare.

4.How to get the welfare?


The new challenges facing housing staff on the frontline are the raft of benefit changes introduced through the welfare reform programme. These changes require housing officers to develop a different knowledge base and a new set of skills.

1 Which is more important in sport - winning or taking part? Are you a good loser?
In my opinion, I think participating is very important in sport. We can learn something from it. It is wonderful process. It will become a nice reminiscence and experience.

Of course yes, keeping politics out of sport is very important for sport. Because, the politics will affect a life of sportsman.The environment is very important.

This is China Football Association Super League. It is very interesting match for football fans. It has thirty rounds, and every round has eight match. Before two years ago, I study in xi'an. Every month, I always enjoy it. It can give us a good environment for football match.

4.In Britain, the big events include the Boat Race, the Grand National& the Derby( horse races), the Five Nations(rugby) the FA Cup Final( football), the Test Match( cricket) and Wimbledon( tennis). Which of these would you like to see? Why?

I think that I will choice the FA Cup Final. The football is most popular in the world. On the other hand, I am a football fan, and I always see some football match in China night.

5. Is it easy to take part in sport in your country? Which sports do you do and how often do you take part?
No, it is not. Because, I can not find an active recreation area for sport. So. I just one month to take part in a sport.

6. Who are your sporting heroes and heroines? Why do you admire them?
Yao Ming is my sporting heroes. He has two important words.
1. Efforts may not succeed, give up but must have failed!
2.There are differences between people, but that does not mean that one way is right and the other way is wrong.

7. Should the Olympic Games be held only in Greece or should they change between different countries? Where would you like to see them held next time?
I think the Olympic Games should change between different countries. Because, we can see many different national culture. I would like to see them in Vatican City State. It is amazing.

8. Do you think that boxing is a true sport? Should it be included in the Olympic Games? Should it be made illegal?
In my opinion, I think boxing is not a true sport. Because, it is a special match for two people. It should not be included in the Olympic Games. But, it is not an illegal things. It is a match of people strength.

9. Which is your favorite sport to watch and what do you think are the qualities of a good team or a true champion in that sport?

In my opinion, I think that it can not be canceled for murder or terrorism.Firstly, I want to say. Everybody just have one life. If the murder or terrorism can not be punish. We can not deal with the dead. Secondly, the law is fair and equitable. It can give them right punishment. Finally, we should believe every judge.
2.Should the main purpose of prison be punishment or rehabilitation?
In my opinion, I think that the main purpose is help murder to change them some mind and behavior.It can help them to know their wrong.
3.What is the best way to deal with juvenile crime?
Such as:
joy-riding
vandalism
graffiti
The juvenile crime is the most popular crime. Some children can not find the right ways to solve them problem. So, they will do some bad things. However, we can decrease the juvenile crime from education of children. For example, family education, school education and social education.
4.Is it ever right for political activists to break the law ?
Yes,it is. Sometimes, some breaking the law be occurred in our life. For example, some people think they have some special relation in the police office. So, they can drive car very quickly or ignore traffic lights. It is so bad.
5.How strict should the law be with people who drink and drive?
The one side, the law should give them strong economy punishment.
On the other side, the government should do the education about drink driving is very dangerous behavior.
6.Which is the more serious problem in you country-tax evasion or social security fraud?
I think that the tax evasion is more serious problem in my country.Because,tax is a major source of national. If tax evasion be appeared. It looks like some bad building, and it can not experience wind and rain. It will affect the government to do some things.
7.Should the police have the right to stop and search you in the street without a warrant?
Yes, I agree. The police is a important for social safety and stability. For example, we can always see many police at some big activities. Such as, Olympic Games and Football match.
8.Should the law respect the rights of homeless people to squat in unoccupied property or shop doorways?
Yes, the law should respect the homeless people legal behavior. The government should give them some helps, which is economy or social security.
9.Should smoking cannabis be a criminal offence?
Yes, I think smoking cannabis is a criminal offence. It is a bad thing for our healthy. And it will affect our family and friends. So, they should be punish very severely.

The Welsh Assembly

Last week we were join in the Welsh Assembly and listen some discussion about many different places development.

In the 3 March 2011, the Welsh Assembly has some change. It's a referendum about extending the law-making powers of the National Assembly for Wales was held in Wales. 

The referendum asked the question: " Do you want the Assembly now to be able to make laws on all matters in the 20 subject areas it has powers for?"

The results of the referendum were announced on 4 March 2001. Overall, more than half choose yes.

Time management

Maybe I think sometimes I can manage my own time very well.
For example, I can give me a nice food, and I can call my girl friend everyday at same time. So, I think that it is my strong point. However, on the other hand I can not have a nice sleep. Because, I always have a sleepless night. I go to bed very early, but sleeping very late. So, I will go to bed and turn off my mobile phone every night.

Team work

We have a some group in our class. It include three people of Tony, Silence and I. However, we can not do our presentation very well. Because, we have a same future which is lazy. It's so bad for us. Everyone think other people will make PPT. But, we can not finish that homework. So, I think that we should not lazy at anytime. We should do anythings very hard-working. Moreover, we just can do presentation of improvisation.

The European Union

The European Union is an economic and political union of 27 member states which are located primarily in Europe. It include European Commission, the Council of the European Union, the European Council, the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Central Bank four parts.

Firstly, let's talk about the benefits of joining the European Union.The European Union provides a 340 million population market, and it is greater than the United States. It was able to achieve scale economy, especially it can provide high initial research cost of complex products. Foe example, computer, medicine, Ultra-high speed of sound plane and modern weapons.So, the EU enterprises can complete more effectively in the international market.

On the other hand, let's discuss the shortcomings of joining the EU. The EU's political integration process lags far behind its economic integration process. So, some economic policy is prevented in EU. However, all members economic strength is not the same. So,it has many problem about the implementation of the policy.

Education system in the UK and China

Today, I will write about difference education systems in the UK and China.

Firstly, I want to say about UK's education system.In generally, it is include Compulsory Education, Further Education and Higher Education. In these of education systems, the compulsory education is include Pre-school and nursery education,Primary education and Secondary schools.However, UK's student must study in the school from 4 to 11 years old,and studying secondary education from 11 to 16. Moreover, some school even provide free lunch. So, all of parents must be sent her children to school.

On the other hand, I want to say about China's education system. In generally, it is include Pre-school education, Elementary education, Secondary education and Higher education. In these of education systems, Preschool education and elementary education together make up the China's nine years of compulsory education.

So, we will spend 23 years to learn and getting undergraduate course graduation. It's a long time for me.

Although baking itself is a relatively easy process, it is good to have some knowledge of the role each ingredient plays in creating the final dish.

England is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. The name "England" is derived from the Old English name Englaland, which means " land of the Angles". It is located in the south-east of the island of Great Britain.It also includes the White Island, isles of Scilly and coast of Isles, an area of about 130000 square kilometers. It is the largest area of UK, and also has the largest population in the most economically developed areas.

Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom in the north-east of the island of Ireland. It is variously described as a country, province or region of the UK.
As of 2011, its population was 1,810,863, constituting about 30% of the island's total population and about 3% of the population of the UK. However, It has the UK's largest lake-Lough Neagh.

Scotland is a country that is part of the United Kingdom. It is located in the north of the island of Great Britain. It has the famous whisky industry and animal husbandry.As of 2010, its population was 5,222,100.

Wales is a country that is part of the Untied Kingdom and the island of Great Britain, bordered by England to its east and the Atlantic Ocean and Irish Sea to its west.It had a population in 2011 of 3,064,000,and has a total area of 20,779km². Wales has over 1,200km of coastline.It is the capital of Cardiff.

Maybe I think that British have many different characteristics. Firstly, they are like to listen to constructive words and they are particularly interested in the recommendations of other people. Secondly, they are speak very straight and they will speak a thing just to talk it. Thirdly, They think that the contract is most important for any ways. Finally, they are very fond of animals and you can see some animal walk on the street.  So, British are very friendly.
